GAZELLE NEXT BUS
Driver's seat with armrest has anatomic back support and five adjustments. Steering column is tilt-adjustable and telescopic folding provides additional protection.
Power windows can be fully opened and closed in 5 seconds. Optionally, GAZELLE NEXT can be equipped with electrically adjustable mirrors providing for easier rear view adjustment.
Base vehicle comes with audio arrangements for installation of multimedia equipment, or optionally GAZELLE NEXT may be equipped with a 2DIN stereo.
Active safety systems are aimed at eliminating the risk of an accident. GAZELLE NEXT has ABS braking system as standard.
GAZELLE NEXT has large side mirrors consisting of two parts. The upper part of the mirror is electrically heated, improving visibility in cold weather. The lower part of the mirror is spherical - to increase the view angle and minimise blind spots.
GAZELLE NEXT headlamps have a large reflector area and their illumination performance fulfils all international safety standards.
To increase the level of passive safety, the GAZELLE NEXT has programmable deformation zones. Driver and passenger protection is also ensured by increasing the rigidity of the body and frame.
GAZELLE NEXT steering sharpness and clearance is achieved by combining steering and wheel suspension into a single module. Such front suspension parameters are perfectly fit for hard operating conditions.
Double wishbone independent front suspension is a modern truck suspension system with a large safety margin, better stability and steering as well as high ride smoothness.
Upgraded Spicer-type axle with modern shock absorbers reduces the frame load, significantly increases the loading capacity of the vehicle and provides better stability on the road.
68 fully galvanised and 16 plastic parts guarantee no through corrosion for 5 years or 150,000 km.
A rear-wheel drive vehicle with twin rear tires offers better off-road capability due to the larger contact patch between the drive wheels and the road (e.g. climbing on icy roads). Besides, if one of the rear wheels goes flat, the vehicle can be safely brought to a stop.
SMALL BUSES
GAZELLE NEXT city buses carry up to 22 passengers, including standing passengers (cabin height 190 cm).
Seats of GAZELLE NEXT commuter buses (unlike city buses) are equipped with seat belts and are all positioned in the direction of travel for safety on longer journeys.
Tall (190 cm) and spacious interior of GAZELLE NEXT buses allows passengers to move easily inside the passenger compartment while boarding.
The bus is equipped with a full-hight sliding door and a power retractable footrest for easy passenger entry and exit.
